Meaning & context
글자 그대로, 그것으로 충분해 혹은 됐습니다의 짧은 표현이다. 친한 친구들 사이에서만 사용되며 요즘은 이것을 더 짧게, 됐것으로 종종 이야기한다.
Literally, an abbreviation of the expression for “that’s enough” or “that’s OK,” dueseubnida (됐습니다), and only used between friends. This phrase is closely related to the English expressions “don’t say another word,“ “give it up,” “shut the fuck up” or “forget-about-it,” and is and may be accompanied by a hand to the face to show that you are tired of hearing someone’s bullshit excuses. Duetgeodeun can also be shortened further to duetgot (됐것).

됐거든! 너 몇주동안 전화한통 없었어! 그날 밤 이후로.
Duetgeodeun! You haven’t called me in weeks! Not since that night.
난, 음... 중간고사 때문에 바빴어.
I, um. . . I’ve been busy with midterms.
됐거든요! 너 절대 공부 안 하잖아! 그리고 너 빅터랑 룸살롱 간 거 다 들었어.
Duetgeodeunyo! You never study! And I heard you were with Victor at that room salon.
누가 그래? 나 절대...
Says who? I never. . .
됐어. 우린 끝났어!! 그럼... 됐것!
Duesseo. We’re finished!! Then. . . duetgeot!
