[jjeon-da]
tight; kickass; (sometimes awful)
Meaning & context
Jjeonda can be used in many situations; it can occasionally be used for something bad, but it is most often used for something that is wonderful or awesome – similar to the American slang, tight. Most likely taken from the North Korean dialect, jeolda (절다) means to adapt. Like with the USMC’s “Improvise, Adapt and Overcome,” if one adapts well, they become so adept at it, it’s powerfully awesome; it kicks ass!
