[bbo-dae-nan-da]

cool; the shit; the cat’s meow

Meaning & context

Probably stemming from bbodagu (뽀다구), to strike a pose, and nanda (난다), to come out, to form new slang for cool, hip or glamorous. It seems to have come into existence during the Madonna “strike a pose” craze. So sexy and stylish aren’t you Mr. Fancy pants!

SaengTae

She what? She’s modeling now?

MyongTae

No, she just looks cool . . . She’s bbodaenanda.

SaengTae

I think you’ve got a thing for her. You should “strike a pose” when you see her and maybe she’ll notice you.
